At the 2016 Landscape Ontario Awards of Excellence ceremony in Toronto, Monarch was awarded the prestigious Casey van Maris Award.
Voted on by a group of peers, our project was selected amongst all entries submitted to Landscape Ontario as the project deemed to be the most innovative and unique in design. This award speaks to the strength of our design team and our field craftsman in creating truly unique and exciting projects.
From the very beginning I was impressed...
I had the pleasure of working with Monarch on a complete backyard project that included the full design, cedar deck, large patio, step stones gardens and trees. From the very beginning I was impressed with Dave and the whole Monarch team. The crew was extremely detailed, paying close attention to all the build details, and were very professional. The job site was well organized and cleaned daily. The project was completed ahead of schedule, and we were able to enjoy a full summer season out in the new space. We look forward to working with Monarch on future projects. I would recommend them to anyone interested in a proper design for their outdoor living space.

Very happy with the finished product...
Monarch transformed what used to be our very poorly graded back yard into a tiered and functional space. We have gardens, a patio and a play area that are all very well used by our whole family. Their attention to detail and materials used make our yard the talk of the neighbourhood. They also built privacy screens and added a shed that provide privacy from our neighbours without looking like a standard fence. The whole concept in the backyard really ties in well architecturally and we are very happy with the finished product. The crew was very pleasant as was the office team.
